WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
Here is a short update on what you can expect in the future:-
Martin is working hard on the new RCS. As you may know, version 87 was the last version using the current interface. The new RCS will be more dynamic and flexible when it comes down to dashboards and pitstops.
For example, If you don’t use tyre wear, you won’t see the tyre value in the dashboard and you won’t see tyres as an option during a pitstop.
It means a lot of the code will be rewritten, and in such a manner that it is easier to add new features. For example, pit stop management will be one of the new features and probably available right away at the next release. Decide before the race the actions your pit crew has to perform, based on practice/qualify data and results. The pit menu will be completely different with less chance of mistakes and a much clearer interface.
So, a lot of work to do but also a lot to look forward to. I will share more information as we move forward.
Have fun with Version 87 in the meantime.

WHAT’S NEXT?
From now on we will focus on a mega new release of RCS with new dashboards, improved pitstop management, enhanced smart sensor support and a lot more. That release will take a while but we will keep you updated !

Version 3.0.0.87 is now available for download. Dowload via http://schmidt-thomsen.dk/RCS64/ for the time being. This download can be slow at times. We hope to have v87 available via our normal fast server soon.
RALLY MODE FEATURE
Next feature to be developed will be a Rally Mode.
MEGA SMART SENSOR
The new MegaSmartSensor will be available soon.
Development is well under way and it is expected that the new MegaSmartSensor will have the following features-
· Connection to 6 sensors (6 for sectors or 4 for sectors and to for pit)
· RJ45 connection for easy connection to Startlight
· Build in 2,4GHz radio for connection to cheap wireless controllers (to be developed) or driver displays (to be developed)
· SmartSensor ID by deepswitch so more than one SmartMegaSensor can be used at the same track.
· 2 Green LED + 6 Red LED
· Compatible with the SmartSensor (Can be used at same time at the same track)

PACE CARS
The recent version release (v3.0.0.80) has been a great hit. We have received many complements on the new Pace Car feature.
Get ready for a new version release, with a few minor improvements,very soon.
